Kazakhstan Ambassador H.E Mr Nurlan Zhalgasbayev, announces expansion of consular responsibilities of Nawab Mir Nasir Ali Khan to adjoining 3 states, in addition to Telangana & AP!

Hyderabad, November 5, 2023: H.E Mr. Nurlan Zhalgasbayev, the Hon'ble Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to India, made a significant announcement of expanding the jurisdiction of the consular district of the Honorary Consulate of Kazakhstan in Hyderabad to adjoining states of Odisha, Madhya Pradesh, and Chhattisgarh, at the Kazakhstan Republic Day celebrations, hosted in Hyderabad, today. This makes the current Honorary Consul of Kazakhstan for Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, Dr. Nawab Mir Nasir Ali Khan, responsible for five states, an unprecedented honor for an Honorary Consul, in India.

I am honoured and privileged to be bestowed with the responsibility of representing the Republic of Kazakhstan in five young and progressive states of India. This development paves the way for enhanced diplomatic and trade relations between the two countries, especially of the five states, promising a brighter future for bilateral cooperation, says Dr. Nawab Mir Nasir Ali Khan.

I am deeply convinced that the inclusion of these states within the consular district of the Honorary Consulate of Kazakhstan in Hyderabad, will help leverage the tremendous potential to expand the bilateral trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian relations between our countries, says H.E Mr. Nurlan Zhalgasbayev.  

Distinguished guests, representatives from various consulates, government officials, and prominent business personalities including Ms. Jennifer Larson, the US Consul General; Mr. Aaref Ali Muhammad, UAE Consul General; Mr. Orhan Yalman, Turkish Consul General; Mr. Gareth Wynn Owen, British Deputy High Commissioner; Dr. E. Vishnu Vardhan Reddy (IFS), Special Secretary - Investment Promotion & External Engagement Dept. of Industries & Commerce, Telangana Government; Shrikant Sinha, CEO, TASK; Y Varaprasad Reddy, WTC;  Santosh Kumar Sahoo, AIG; Niladri B. During his two-day visit to Hyderabad, H.E Mr. Nurlan Zhalgasbayev, was engaged in important deliberations. The Ambassador called on the Hon'ble Minister Shri M. Mahmood Ali, Minister for home prisons and fire services, Telangana; and explored the prospect of establishing a direct flight from Hyderabad to Kazakhstan, to enhance the existing strong relations and the potential of sister city relations between Hyderabad and Astana, during the discussion. He extended a warm invitation to Shri M. Mahmood Ali to visit Kazakhstan.
